Wiki Loves Monuments is a photo competition to contestants' pull photographs of cultural monuments to be used in Wikipedia article.

In every September by the Wikimedia Movement organizes in approximate forty countries of the world.

The Wikimedia Community User Group Turkey (WMTR) this year for the first time in Turkey organized the Wiki Loves Monuments competition. Anyone (photographers, amateurs, Wikimedians, non-wikimedians) on the occasion of this competition to discover again history of their region, the importance of cultural, scientific and are invited to share these images.
