Lee Potter (born 4 January 1972), known by his stage name Cut La Roc, is a British electronic musician, considered as a pioneer of big beat, a genre fusing elements of hip hop, house and rock
Potter grew up in Brighton, United Kingdom and is signed to the British label Rocstar Recordings.
He started creating and producing music when acid house came on at the end of the eighties. In an interview he described the cause of his "infection" for electronic music and DJ-ing: "I'd never really liked house music up until then, but this was kind of different, because it had the hip-hop element through the breakbeats, it made total sense to me".
In 1998 he released "Post Punk Progression" which NME lauded as "what the Beatles would have sounded like if they'd invented jungle".
In 1999, Cut La Roc produced and released a mix album for the Ministry of Sound's FSUK imprint and performed and produced with 9 decks. He spent three years consistently DJing in Australia, the United States, Europe and Asia.
An angel is a purely spiritual being found in various religions and mythologies. In Abrahamic religions and Zoroastrianism, angels are often depicted as benevolent celestial beings who act as intermediaries between God or Heaven and Earth, or as guardian spirits or a guiding influence. Other roles of angels include protecting and guiding human beings, and carrying out God's tasks. The term "angel" has also been diversed to various notions of spirits or figures found in many other religious traditions. The theological study of angels is known as "angelology".
In art, angels are often depicted with bird-like wings on their back, a halo, robes and various forms of glowing light.
The word angel (pronounced /ˈeɪn.dʒəl/) in English is a blend of Old English engel (with a hard g) and Old French angele. Both derive from Late Latin angelus "messenger", which in turn was borrowed from Late Greek ἄνγελος ángelos. According to R. S. P. Beekes, ángelos itself may be "an Oriental loan, like ἄγγαρος ['Persian mounted courier']." The word's earliest form is Mycenaean a-ke-ro attested in Linear B syllabic script.
Angel is the third single on Theory of a Deadman's fifth studio album Savages. The single was released on February 24, 2015.
"Angel" is a ballad about a man who's in love with an angel but realizes that he eventually has to let her go. Randy Shatkowski of Underground Pulse describes the song as an "electronic-tinged lost love ballad" and noted Tyler Connolly's vocals to be his most vulnerable yet.
"Angel" peaked at No. 2 on the Mainstream Rock chart, making it the band's highest peaking single there since "Lowlife" reached No. 1 in 2011. The song has also gained airplay on SiriusXM the Pulse.
The second season of the television series Angel, the spin-off of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, premiered on September 26, 2000 on The WB and concluded its 22-episode season on May 22, 2001. It maintained its previous timeslot, airing Tuesdays at 9:00 pm ET, following Buffy.

"Hell, nobody's perfect
One hundred percent
No saint, no Pope, no King no Queen
No President
But our hunger for heroes
Has made us blind
We seek salvation
From the cup of human kind
But every time we hear the voice
Of some new Abraham
We wake too late to realize
It was just another scam
Fallen angel, fallen angel
Well I guess you were no angel after all
Fallen angel, fallen angel
You always take us with you when you fall
I said nobody's perfect
From head to toe
Not Einstein or Elvis or Lenin or Marx
Or Marilyn Monroe
Cause it's mostly illusion
In flesh and bone
An image, a look, a song or a book
That we all claim for our own
But even in the best of us
There lies beneath the skin
The tragic flaw in nature's law
That's bound to do us in
Fallen angel, fallen angel
Well I guess you were no angel after all
Fallen angel, fallen angel
You always take us with you when you fall
Pretty faces up on the silver screen
Flawless bodies on covers of magazines
They all look perfect to us
So rich and cool and bored
But hold the presses boys
They've checked into Betty Ford
Turns out nobody's perfect
From "A" to "Z"
It's best to follow your heart
Then to follow me
Cause I'm only a singer
Playin' a song
And I've just been making it up
As I went along
See I met a man who told me once
"Sincerity's the key
And once you learn to fake it
Son you're gonna be home free"
Fallen angel, fallen angel
Well I guess you were no angel after all
Fallen angel, fallen angel
