The Stellar Group, Inc. (which uses the trade name "Stellar") is a privately owned design, engineering, construction and mechanical services firm headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, and founded in 1985. The July, 2013 issue of Florida Trend magazine listed Stellar as Florida’s 60th-largest private company, and reported that it employed 639 people, including architects, engineers, constructors, refrigeration specialists and technicians.

"Stellar" is a song by Incubus, released as the second single from their third album Make Yourself. The song is one of the band's most successful reaching #2 on the Modern Rock Tracks.

Sparkle is a 1976 American film directed by Sam O'Steen and released by Warner Bros. Pictures. Inspired by The Supremes, Sparkle is a period film set in Harlem, New York during the late 1950s and early 1960s which follows the rough lives and careers of singer Sparkle Williams and her family and friends.

The film stars Irene Cara, Philip Michael Thomas, Lonette McKee, Dwan Smith, Mary Alice, Dorian Harewood, and Tony King. Curtis Mayfield served as the composer and producer of Sparkle's songs and score.

Plot synopsis

The movie starts in Harlem, New York in 1958. The Williams sisters – Sister (Lonette McKee), Delores (Dwan Smith), and Sparkle (Irene Cara) – are singers in their local church's teenagers' choir along with their friends Stix (Philip Michael Thomas) and Levi (Dorian Harewood). The girls' mother, Effie (Mary Alice), works hard as a maid for the Gerber family at Long Island and struggles to keep her girls, especially the "high-spirited" Sister, safe. Stix, a budding songwriter who is in love with Sparkle, wants to start a group, and arranges the five of them into a quintet called "The Hearts". The Hearts enter a local talent show contest, which they win with the help of Sister's stage appeal. Shortly afterwards, however, Levi drops out of the group so that he can become an important man in the operations of local gangster Satin (Tony King).

Music from the Warner Bros. Picture "Sparkle" is the twenty-fourth studio album by American singer Aretha Franklin album, written and produced by Curtis Mayfield. Released on May 27, 1976, the disc is the soundtrack album for the 1976 Warner Bros. motion picture Sparkle, starring Irene Cara. The songs on the soundtrack feature the instrumental tracks and backing vocals from the film versions, with Franklin's voice taking the place of the original lead vocalists.

Despite mixed reviews, this album returned Aretha to gold status after two failed albums. The first single release, "Something He Can Feel", was a #1 R&B hit for her and reached #28 on the Billboard Hot 100. However, it was Aretha's only Pop Top 40 hit during the second half of the 1970s. The album itself reached the Top 20 of Billboard's main album chart and was certified Gold for US sales of over 500,000 copies. In 2009, it was reissued on Rhino Records' budget Flashback Records label. The songs "(Giving Him) Something He Can Feel" and "Hooked on Your Love" were covered by En Vogue on their 1992 multi-platinum hit album Funky Divas.
