Youth is a 2001 Indian Telugu romance film, written and directed by Jitendra. The film stars Vikram and Sri Harsha in the lead roles, who plays his love interest.

Youth is the sixth studio album by Collective Soul, released in November 2004. The album was the band's first on their own label, EL Music Group, after leaving Atlantic Records following the release of their greatest hits album, Seven Year Itch. The album contains a more balanced pop-rock sound than their previous albums Dosage and Blender.

Background

After 2000's Blender both Ed and Dean Roland went through divorces. The band attempted to work through these circumstances and, according to Dean, at one point had enough material for two CD's. However said material was darker and the band wanted the songs to have "a more positive, 'light at the end of the tunnel'-type vibe " The band eventually scrapped the material and completely started over.

Hollis Wong-Wear, known mononymously as Hollis, is an American singer-songwriter and creative producer. She is best known for featuring on "White Walls", a song by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, which also featured Schoolboy Q. Hollis is also a spoken-word artist. Her major debut was on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' debut album, The Heist. This was followed by the single "White Walls" in which she did the vocals for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. This song peaked at number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Hollis was nominated for the 2014 Grammy Awards for songwriting and vocals on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ album, The Heist.

Hollis is a town in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 7,684 at the 2010 census. The town center village is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Hollis Village Historic District.

History

Town name

According to Samuel T. Worcester's history which was commissioned by the town selectmen in 1878, the town was incorporated in the province of New Hampshire on April 3, 1746, "to have continence forever by the name of Holles..."

Worcester argues that, at the time of the charter, Governor Benning Wentworth was indebted to Thomas Pelham-Holles, 1st Duke of Newcastle for his appointment as governor. According to Worcester, it was "very much the custom with Gov. Wentworth" to name towns in honor of his friends and patrons. Thus in the same year, the towns of Pelham and Holles were incorporated, and named after the duke. Worcester cites a Mr. Bancroft who,

Thomas Hollis (1659–1731) was a major benefactor of Harvard College. According to Worcester, about the year 1775, town records started appearing with the town's name spelled as "Hollis", after Thomas Hollis. Both spellings were used until about 1815, after which only the name "Hollis" appears, "...while Holles, the name of the Duke of Newcastle, has passed into merited oblivion."
