Introducing CData Virtuality 4.6: Building CData Connectivity into the Virtuality Product

Just eight weeks following CData’s acquisition of Data Virtuality, we are excited to release CData Virtuality 4.6, a significant milestone that underscores the joint vision to dominate the data integration market.

This release includes three major achievements:

• A framework to easily add CData Connectors into CData Virtuality
• Integrating the first 18 CData Connectors into the product
• Rebranding on-prem and SaaS products under CData Virtuality

Seamlessly add CData Drivers

Under the leadership of Dr. Nick Golovin, CData Sr. VP of Enterprise Data Platform, our development teams have engineered a framework that lays the foundation for seamlessly integrating any CData Driver into CData Virtuality. This enhancement significantly simplifies the addition of new connectors, and makes it possible to seamlessly integrate any of CData’s 300+ connectors into the product. Connectors that already exist in the CData Driver portfolio can now be integrated in just a few days.

Among these, the connector to CData Connect Cloud is notable. This connector serves as an optimal starting point for our Connect Cloud customers aiming to elevate their systems to an enterprise-grade data architecture through data virtualization, facilitating seamless integration with CData Virtuality and capitalizing on existing infrastructure built with Connect Cloud.
