Yes, this keyboard supports both Windows and MacOS operating systems across all channels (2.4G/wired/Bluetooth). You can switch between the WIN system by pressing the FN+O key combination, and the MAC system by pressing the FN+P key combination.
Is the backlight uneven?
Different backlight modes can cause varying brightness and light shapes which may create the impression of unevenness. This is normal. To achieve an even backlight, you can adjust the mode to steady light (default), breathing mode, etc.
Does it need frequent charging?
When the backlight is fully turned on, it will increase power consumption, and the keyboard can be used for about a week. With the backlight turned off, it can last up to 30 days.
Bluetooth connection unstable?
Occasionally, the keyboard may experience unstable Bluetooth connections. Simply delete the current pairing and re-pair the devices to resolve the issue.
Do I need to install drivers or an app? How do I download the driver? Why can't I use the driver in Bluetooth mode?
1. For common tasks like typing and office work, no drivers or apps are needed.
2. To customize or remap keys to your preferences, visit our official website for the corresponding product driver. Note: drivers can only be configured in wired mode.

The letters are lit from behind so you can see them well in the dark. I never use the fancy moving lights because I just can't deal with a lot of flashing in my peripheral vision when I'm trying to read. (There are too many options in my opinion.) The lights are bright too. I always use the lowest setting.
It connects to my three devices quickly and seamlessly. I use it on my living room PC, on my tablet (like a laptop), and on my Android TV, all day long. I had to put the USB dongle on a long cord near me because I just don't get consistent connection otherwise (My PC is 10-15 feet away.) But that's always been the case in my house. It's not the keyboard's fault. I've used it over Bluetooth connected in another room. It's not perfect but it will work in a pinch, (and that's with a bazillion wireless devices, routers, and phones in between.)
Gripes:
First small thing is that even though there is a "Windows" mode, and a "Mac" mode there is no "Android" mode. It works well on Android for the most part, but I'd like to see more shortcut keys (like a send button when texting.) (There's an App for that though: "Quick TV Actions".)
Windows is actually where it gets wonky occasionally. For some reason the Num pad, with Num Lock on, doesn't want to work sometimes. Rebooting my PC, oddly, resets it. But my other keyboards work fine. I've started using a little utility called "Numlocker" to force it to stay on. Also, the keyboard likes to sleep sometimes and there is a hiccup before I can hit my fist key. It's not bad, and doesn't happen when continuously typing. It's also a bit of a learning curve to get used to the placement of the keys. I often place my fingers too far to the right if I don't look when I first place them. (The Num pad makes it want to sit off-center on your lap.)
Now for my big hate/annoyance. There is no way to pick this thing up without pressing keys!!! In addition, the keys are very easy to press so I'm always hitting something accidentally. Even the edge of the blanket on my lap hits them when I move. It's really not intended for your lap in the living room I guess, but that's where I'm using it. It needs a wrist rest, or enough extra space on the bezel(?) to pick it up. I have gotten into the habit of turning it off before I lay it down, or adjust my position. It's very annoying though. I may see if I can find some kind of rigid plastic platform, or desk-pillow to attach it to with velcro so I can have just a little thumb space to grab it. I like the slim size because I can store it in my coffee table cubbie hole and it slides in perfectly next to my storage baskets. But I pay for the convenience.
It wants to slide around in your lap, so I ended up sticking a long piece of carpet tacking tape to the back and that solved the problem. However I have this problem with many keyboards because I like to put my knees up to save my back.
My husband has big, long hands and says the key-spacing is just too small for him (I have medium female hands.) He loves the feel of the typing action so much, though, that he'd be willing to get used to it for full-time use. He just gets annoyed because he doesn't use it often, so when he does it feels weird to him. I may buy him a bigger one if this brand makes it.
Really great keyboard overall, especially since it's not overpriced like so many keyboards recently. I'm quite happy with it in my living room despite the little things I have to work around. I shopped around and returned a couple. This ticks all my boxes.
Love the fact that it can switch between devices quickly. This is actually why I bought this keyboard, as my desk has limited real estate.
Also love the available light patterns. My favorite is the one that radiates out from the pressed key.
My only gripes are:
The Fn button could be in a better location, or have a different type of switcher control.
There isn't a Linux port of the driver that I could find. I prefer Linux, but to change my light pattern or other setting. But since I have a Windows machine at my desk that I use this keyboard with (it's F4), it's not an issue for me at the moment, but could be an issue depending on the situation.
The second issue I'm having is with the USB-C port. When you move the keyboard it sometimes (not every time) disconnects and immediately reconnects. This is not good.
I contacted ProtoArc support and they want me to take a video of the issues in order for them to honor their warranty. While I completely understand the logic behind this, it can be difficult to reproduce the errors as they are sporadic. I would not recommend this keyboard.
