I feel apple has really started to move in the backwards direction with this phone, and I’m not too impressed for the significant loan that was required to buy this phone outright, I expect much higher camera quality for a phone that costs $1,000. I purchased this phone, because I was tired of the issues I had with the Xs while trying to work. The GPS kept crashing. After getting this one, I’ve dealt with constant camera crashes, something others have complained about since it’s release. The other complaint I have is, when I have speaker phone on during calls, the recipient often cannot hear me when I’m RIGHT THERE. I feel like this is because the microphone is on the back, and gets cut off when I set it on my couch, or leg, or anything. It had a really good battery life, I can take high quality shots with the camera when it works, I’m not super impressed with how it takes close up photos, they are still too blurry, there’s no macro camera ability as I thought there would be. One of the biggest things that drew me to it was the camera, and I low key wish I would have went with the 13 pro max instead. It has a very large storage capacity and I never have had to worry about storage, however I’m sure that the RAM will slow down if you have too much going on and a lot on it, I love the pressure touch responsive screen, it took me a bit to get the hang of turning on the flashlight from the home screen though! Think of it like you’re pressing a real button, and it will work! Overall, I do really like this phone, I’m kind of hard on phones sometimes because I do so much, I tend to overload processors and kill the battery over time. So far this phone has held up pretty strong for me. If you get the 13 line though, and want a good camera app, I’d recommend going ahead with the 13 pro max instead for the upgraded camera. If you’re obsessed with photography, this likely won’t satisfy your needs. The GPS works on this one at least!!
[Rewarded Review] Best iPhone for the money
Cale· Review provided by bestbuy.com · October 2, 2023
This review is coming from someone who owned an iPhone XR before. I’m going to start off with saying this iPhone is probably the best money you can spend on a newer iPhone. It has most of the features of the 14 and 15 but it’s significantly cheaper and is still only 2 years old. I’m guessing this phone will get updated for at least 4-5 years.

I upgraded from an iPhone XR and this has a lot of improvement. Double the storage for the base model (64GB vs 128), better resolution, OLED screen vs LCD, MagSafe, wide angle camera, and night mode. The 13 has the same size screen as the XR (6.1”) but this phone feels a tad bit smaller since the the corners are squared not rounded and the bezels are smaller. The 13 with a case feels like the same size as the XR without a case. Perfect size for me as the XR was just slightly too big. The notch on this phone is a little smaller too. Doesn’t make a big difference most of the time but it gives you slightly more screen in games and videos. Also the notification icons like LTE, WiFi, clock, and battery meter are slightly larger since they have more room. The 13’s battery lasts a little bit longer than the XR but that is partially because my old XR had 83% battery health. Having said that battery was never a big issues with me on my older iPhone and the 13 is little better so no complaints about the battery from me.

This phone has basically the same camera setup, screen size, and body as the base 14 and 15 but it has one thing they’re missing. A physical sim slot. Not a huge issue for me but it made activating this phone easy. I have Cricket so I just swapped out my sim and put it in this phone. No issues and it immediately started working. No need to pay an upgrade fee in store or anything.

Final thoughts. The 13 is probably good for anyone with an older LCD iPhone or someone who wants MagSafe and/or better camera options. I would probably say a good upgrade for the 11 or older. If your current phones lacks a good nighttime camera or wide angle this is a nice upgrade. If you have a 11Pro, or 12 it might not be worth it since the upgrades are smaller but this is still a very good iPhone for around $600.
[Rewarded Review] Each iPhone model gets better and better.

This iPhone 13 is the 10th iPhone I have owned. This is by far better than all the previous versions mainly because it is still working flawlessly after two years of use. The screen is slightly smaller than most of the previous versions but the clarity and responsiveness more than make up for it. The thin and sleek style is modern and attractive. The speed is about the same as the previous iPhone models with the exception of the touch screen responsiveness. The touch screen seems to be slightly faster than the iPhone 12. I update this iPhone as soon as Apple provides the updates and have so far have not had any problems. The durability seems to be very good. Even though I have a case and screen protector on the iPhone, I have dropped it countless times and it still looks like new. This will greatly help the trade in value. The battery seems to last a lot longer than previous versions and both the wired and wireless charging is super fast with a lightning charger. With each new model the iPhone seems to become better and better. I am extremely satisfied with this phone and would highly recommend it.
