[Rewarded Review] Great iPad Purchase!!!
SilverCrystalSwan· Review provided by bestbuy.com · May 18, 2024
It was crucial to me to find an iPad that was compatible with the Apple Pencil (2nd generation), which I highly liked over all other pencils. This iPad is compatible with that specific pencil. I thought it was neat that the pencil could charge from the iPad instead of needing to be connected to a charger because it could attach to the iPad magnetically.

My primary uses for this iPad are book writing, digital art, and note-taking. I use it for three to six hours every day, leave it on constantly, and only need to charge it once every three to four days. Even though it's not tiny, it's still smaller than a laptop and can fit in the big purse or tote that I use on a daily basis, so I carry it everywhere I go. It's excellent for digital artists, graphic designers, and/or students who need to take notes, study, work on projects, write papers, and much more (buy a typing keyboard case).

When I use a pencil to sketch or create digital art, it moves across the computer as effortlessly as an ink pen does on paper. There is no lag, no weird effects, and everything appears exactly how I drew it on the screen.Furthermore, this is far superior to purchasing a graphic tablet and connecting it to a PC or laptop. Thus far, I haven't encountered any slowness when using the iPad for any purpose. I adore it so much; everything loads and syncs up really rapidly.
But I probably won’t though since my phone has a hotspot and majority of the time I just connect it to that if I’m not at home to use wifi, still works like a charm.

I am very pleased with my purchase and this was 100% worth the money. I haven’t nearly run out of storage or anything, I’m just afraid that I will create so many files or download so many apps that one day I MIGHT actually run out but that day is probably a long way away.
[Rewarded Review] 2-6 IPADS PER YEAR … THIS MODEL IS STURDIER

My son has severe autism, meaning minimal speech, lots of frustration and sometimes even aggressive behavior. I built touchscreens for my computer in the early aughts so he could express himself. And I bought the first iPad commercially available. I have tried other notepad devices but he’s always preferred Apple, and I agree. They have always been more intuitively designed. But costs of purchasing and maintaining are awful. Not as awful and frustrating as the experience of being unable to communicate…but still. My son has been rough with his devices, so I have spare parts and backups. iPads have not been able to take the punch of an enraged person with a cognitive disability. The only case tough enough interferes with efforts to communicate, and that is the opposite of what we want to do. I have been told for years not to bother—too expensive and difficult to maintain. But I think it’s much more difficult not to have communication. The iPads are the voice of my son and so I have to continue to try and find the money to support his efforts. It’s been a happy surprise to be able to report this particular model is still working, few repairs and always reliable. I had zero expectations for this and it wasn’t advertised as a more sturdy model, so I bought used and the iPads are shredded at just past 6 months. I don’t know if it’s the design or the maturity of this young man…but somehow he has been using the same one for 2 years!!! Thanks to the Apple Gods and I hope my luck continues. I’d love to invest in more than just the ipad/case if future models this resilient would be something to expect. (Please)
[Rewarded Review] Does everything I need

I traded in my iPad mini 6 for this because I needed something more capable as it is my only computer. It’s does the job capably, although mirroring on a monitor took some getting used to. I didn’t buy the attachable keyboard as I have an Apple blootooth keyboard and mouse already, but those paired seamlessly and with my monitor make a capable desktop substitute for those occasions it is needed. The M1 chip makes this a good option for those whose computer needs are basic, but still want the portability of an iPad most of the time. I loved the form factor of the mini and honestly preferred it when lounging around, but the iPad Air is more versatile as I said. The larger sized phones these days are almost a substitute for the mini anyway. If you do any amount of drawing, light photo editing, or any amount of stuff other than just consumption, the Air with its bigger screen is the only way to go. Don’t fall for the comparisons between the Air and same sized iPad Pro as far as refresh rate. The Air is plenty quick. Only true negative is battery life. The M1 chip means this looses charge pretty quick so any more than a few hours use daily will mean this is a daily charge device.

i love this ipad! its perfect for watching movies and playing games. it runs fast, is very responsive, and the transfer of data from my iphone 15 was not super quick, but not horribly slow (the whole process was maybe about 45 minutes, but that is due to slow wifi not anything to do with the tablet). i got this as somewhat of a cheap replacement for my degrading laptop until i can buy another one, and so i don’t have to lug my laptop around on vacations anymore. the battery life, while not groundbreaking, is very decent and what you’d expect from an apple product. the screen is beautiful and clear. everything runs as smooth as butter, and 64GB of space is more than enough for someone who’s just doing casual stuff like me. i definitely plan on buying more accessories for it like a pencil and a keyboard! it’s definitely going to become my new best friend, i’m obsessed. if you really wanna use your ipad outside of the house in a place you may not have wifi, don’t waste your money buying the cellular one and then adding it to your data plan, that’s such a big waste of money!! use a mobile hotspot on your phone instead, it’s a completely free alternative that works just as well. Plus the camera works pretty good 👍
