This is a genius design
Gillian· Review provided by stanley1913.com · May 17, 2024
This design is extremely thoughtful! At first, you might think it's a little overkill, but it's genuinely very helpful in solving the everyday problems of a stainless steel water bottle. I've used many types of water bottles over the years, and cleaning is usually the most difficult part with a small bottleneck. For that reason, I usually have to stick to just water inside (no little bit of juice or fruit) to avoid mold inevitably growing. But, this design makes it so easy to clean and be sure that there isn't any mold growing, since the threading is also an easier size to clean. Since I only tend to use stainless steel, I really love this feature. Due to the opening design, the mouthpiece can be narrower and that's much easier to drink out of than larger openings.

But, this is also the first bottle in years that I can actually fit under the water and ice spouts of our water fountains at work! This is a huge win for me - no weird angling, having to awkwardly use my hand to funnel the ice into the bottleneck, or using the water stream to slowly melt too-large ice cubes until they can pass through.

I love that it holds so much water, but still fits into my cup holder in my car. It truly is leakproof and I can throw it in my gym bag as well. I don't have to worry about it spilling if it gets knocked over on the gym floor. It also keeps ice frozen throughout my entire work day.

Aesthetically, the light pink color is beautiful! I do prefer the brushed/matte finish over the glossy though, as glossy finishes tend to scuff a little faster in my experience. So the only constructive feedback I'd say is to offer a fully brushed version!

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this water bottle. I was so excited to find out I was getting a Stanley product and it did not disappoint!
A great bottle for most of the time.

I was provided this bottle free of charge to review through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and was immediately excited because I’m in the market for a new one. After using it for a few days, I think it’s a great bottle overall for most, but not all, purposes.

Firstly, the size is great. It’s the perfect capacity for daily use without needing to fill up too often. This does come with several “buts,” however. The size is great but it doesn’t fit in a couple of key places. It does NOT fit in the car cup holders of my VERY common electric car brand. That wasn’t a deal-breaker beside it doesn’t spill as it rolls around on the passenger seat. It also didn’t fit in the cup holders on my jogging stroller, which is a little more of a problem. I elected to stick it in the bottom basket, but that was definitely inconvenient and I’ll likely bring a different bottle in the future.

I do like the design, again with a couple of caveats. The two- piece body makes it SUPER easy to add ice and to stick it in the dishwasher - a MAJOR plus. The one issue with this was that the top section is absolutely NOT insulated, which means that once I filled it with ice and water, it sweat heavily, leaving a huge puddle on my counter. I actually double checked to make sure it wasn’t leaking, it sweat so much. Despite the lack of insulation on the top, it did manage to keep my drink cold all day long. I had better luck with sweating the following day when I only filled the bottle below the non-insulated part of the bottle. This significantly reduced sweating, but also reduces the capacity of the bottle.
Aside from try sweating problem, I didn’t experience any leaks which was nice, especially since my toddler LOVED it and happily toted it around the house for hours (which also brings up the fact that it seems quite sturdy, and hasn’t dented yet despite some HEAVY use.

Overall, it a nice quality, really sharp-looking bottle. I’m going to happily make it part of my daily use in a handful of contexts- around the house most days. I’ll probably still use a different bottle while exercising with the jogging stroller, and perhaps when we’re out and about, if I need a bottle in the car.
Great water bottle to throw in your bag and go!

I was given this water bottle to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I replaced my previous straw tumbler with this water bottle to try it for the last couple weeks.
As someone who takes their water bottle everywhere with them here are my favorite features of this Stanley slim water bottle: 1. It is dishwasher safe and there was no damage to the water bottle or the beautiful rose quartz finish after running it through the dishwasher on the heavy duty cycle. 2. The slim neck unscrews so I can fill the water bottle with ice which is very convenient. 3. I can throw it in my diaper bag/purse and it has never leaked (even when it's upside down or horizontal)! 4. It has kept my drinks cold for 6-8 hours even in 90degree+ heat. 4. It holds 34oz so I'm not constantly needing to refill. 5. The slim design and small spout makes it easy to pour drinks from the water bottle into my kids' cups with no spilling.

The cons of this water bottle (and the reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 stars) are: 1. It does not fit in any of the cupholders in my vehicle- in the standard cup holder it does not fit at all, it just sits on top, and in the expandable cup holder it only fits in partially so when I drive over rough road the water bottle falls over/out of the cup holder. 2. Drinking directly from this water bottle gives off a very metallic taste (even my husband who is not nearly as picky or sensitive as me commented on how bad it is)!

Overall I love that I can throw this water bottle in my bag and trust that it will keep my drink cool without leaking and I can easily pour drinks, so this water bottle will 100% stay my go-to bottle for park days and picnics with my kids, but because of the metallic taste I will be going back to my straw tumbler for everyday use.
Mediocre

I know that women everywhere are suddenly smitten by trendy water bottles however this one leaves a lot to be desired. A big thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to test The All Day Slim Bottle. I am a stay-at-home mom of eight and it's easy for me to quickly put a product through its paces and this was no exception. Unfortunately, it was evident pretty quickly that the form was more important than function and I'm so disappointed.

In order to reach to its maximum capacity of 34 oz it is necessary to have the neck connected to the base when filling. This will fill like a dream from the faucet but was a challenge when using my water pitcher, between the narrow opening and being unable to see where it was filling to it created quite a mess. The neck portion of this bottle is not insulated, and I can't understand why they decided to skimp here as this seriously compromises the longevity of the iced contents staying cool. I found if it's completely full or it was titled and the liquid inside is touching the neck, the neck portion sweats. The only way to keep the water cold for any length of time is to fill it with ice and water and chill in the fridge for hours which is inconvenient at best and completely frustrating when I just want to fill and go. Somehow this bottle is very easy to knock over even when full and despite its shape it did not fit in the cup holders in our 12-passenger van. We are on the go more hours a week than we are home and we need water bottles to be reliable, durable, and convenient. Unfortunately, this bottle missed the mark.
