I purchased these curtain panels in the royal blue color (with the silver lines). The are lovely! Even better than I'd hoped. The silver lines add just enough "bling" to our cottage house's guest room without being "too much bling". They are also excellent for blocking out the light. They are perfect in the guest room because we can make that room completely dark and the children sleep later!

My bedroom stayed hot and bright everyday. Now that I have purchased and put up these curtains my room is cooler and it keeps my room dark. I love the AZ sun but not early mornings on the weekend and these curtains allow me to have the sun when I want it. The are true to there name BLACKOUT!!!!

We bought these in a couple of different colors for our upstairs, which gets a great deal of sunlight. They helped block the light and heat in the summer, but as some other reviews noted, the lighter the color, the less block you get. They still work great - though they won't be "blackout" if they are a lighter color, and they look great. I also love that they have more than one way to hang them.
