These curtains were selected only for a second bedroom and it was only a matter of something the right size that would blend in with the rest of the colour scheme. However, when they arrived I was so surprised to discover how stylish and contemporary they were, as well as really excellent quality. All in all, very happy and saved a lot of money, compared with the local soft furnishings, store.

Certainly not black out and the eyelets are made of a very thin and cheap looking material (plastic?!) but that’s not noticeable once they’re up. For the price, I wasn’t overly impressed. However, I paid someone to put the old blackout/thermal lining from our old curtains onto these as it made complete sense seeing as our old made to measure curtains were extremely good quality and it seemed a shame to waste them. It’s worked perfectly! It cost me an additional £45 for her to do this on top of the cost of these curtains but I’d say it’s worth it because now they are perfect!
So just bare in mind that these are not blackout, they are light weight and the eyelets are pretty cheap.

I don’t think the manufacturer of these know what “room darkening” actually means. I think a Rizzla paper would block out more light than this fabric. (Yes, a professional seamstress made it into a Roman Blind but the fabric has not been altered).

For the price, I would never recommend these. Even to a person I disliked.

Inaccurate colour description. They look so old in the packet! Will not be putting then up in a freshly renovated room. Returned without opening.
