Stopped working in 4 months!

I can’t figure out what the deal is with Keurig single serve coffee makers. Here’s why: my mom has had the same model working just kosher, no issues, since—my gosh I can barely remember—AT LEAST 2008?! It’s a pretty big size but like I said, this was one of the originals, before they started trying to make them smaller & smaller. I, on the other hand, have gone through SIX Keurig models (including this one here) in only 7 years! This K-Mini was bought in early September and by January 16th, it was taking upwards of 15 minutes to make one cup of poor tasting coffee because it was barely capable of literally just one drip at a time! And I always made sure to only use water from my Pür pitcher since we have hard water where I’m from. I even used the keurig branded rinse pods every month, and did a vinegar/water cleansing mixture TWICE each week! But it still crapped out in less than 4 months?! These are NOT cheap, and neither are the pods obviously, so I think Keurig has some explaining to do and REALLY needs to go investigating into the many complaints similar to mine to figure out what they’re doing wrong when building these. Clearly it’s far more than just me. It’s a disgrace!
Compact and lots of colors

I had a 72oz tank Keurig then an iCoffee and was going to switch to a percolator but missed having an easy coffee. I loved all the Keurig color choices and chose the evergreen as my kitchen has a green/ivy theme. First thing I noticed is the cord storage which makes this handy if you'd like to take it on a trip or a work party. It functions just like my discontinued iCoffee - pour up to 12oz water in, add your pod, press brew and have coffee. It takes up less space than the iCoffee which was already compact compared to my old 72oz Keurig of years ago. The water is definitely warmer than my old Keurig and even the iCoffee, which is a good thing. The only con is that it does splash out of the cup. If you elevate the mug somehow, it doesn't splash as badly. Another con is that I'm not sure if you can use grounds but I'm getting a percolator for Christmas anyway. This is good for a quick coffee and I love how little space it takes up.
Better than any other Expensive and fancy Keurig I've owned.

If you are about low key, low maintenance coffee machines, this is the machine for you. This is great for a small apartment or one to two people. I’m not sure why people say it is noisy, I’ve had several large Keurig coffee makers with tanks of water and this one is by far my favorite. In regards to the noise it sounds like all the other Keurigs I’ve had. I really like this one because there is no issue with filters, clogged needles, easy to descale, and it is add water for the size cup you want to use in the moment (up to 12oz). For me personally, I think of water tanks as algae growers so I avoid them. I’m not home often and would spend more time waisting water, cleaning the tank and refilling it. I think it is fast, I usually make breakfast or am gathering my items for work while it brews and it’s ready in no time. Function is easy, no setting the time or having to be told to do cleanings and not having your machine unavailable - I buy Kauai brand coffee pods, I cannot use them on certain keurigs because it says it can’t pierce the bottom. This Keurig doesn’t care that Kauai coffee pods are not plastic and are a coffee filter bottom. Making coffee is done with one button push, when opening the pod area in the Keurig, the machine turns on, push the main button once after the water has been added and it takes no time to have hot beverage, not sure if people have a different version of this model than me where they are pushing the button multiple times. The splash/mess people are referring to, it has good height to fit togo cups under, I have two 20oz togo mugs that fit perfectly under the dispenser. So the smaller or wider a regular coffee mug is the more likely for a splash because of the distance traveled from the spout to the cup and not having a taller rim. Not a big deal for me to grab a paper towel and wipe it up every now and again or have tall mugs, I do both! I’ll say it again. If you are about low key, low maintenance coffee machines, this is the machine for you. I have had my Keurig since Christmas 2021 and it still is doing what it’s supposed to.
easy safe, quick clean good coffee no messy grinds

I was really so happy with my electric coffee pot. Soon it became messy with the grinds, making coffee, then after getting rid of grinds, washing & cleaning pot.

It also took up too much room on my small counter, and harder to lift,

So, when my grandsons gave me a lovely gift for Christmas and told myself to buy myself something I put the money away didn’t know what I wanted then suddenly I realized I was no longer happy with my coffee pot. Being I had use my daughters when I spend time at a beach home I said that’s for me. Well, I never dreamed I would be happy with Keurig. I love the color it brightens up my counter doesn’t take up much room. It’s simple it’s easy it’s perfect for me. I’m no longer a Coffee pot, lady.

I feel also, I have more time, Not spending cleaning The pot. Oh, and a big extra for me is I can make tea and cocoa it’s perfect it’s perfect. I recommended it highly. Thank you Mary.👍🏻
