I'm done with Google Nest Poor Service

My account (5 years) can't be switched to the new system...who knows why. So I log out, and can't login again. No password reset emails are ever received. So I then attempt to set up a new account and now my devices are linked to the old account which I can't log into. AND, the Help takes me in endless circles. I work in IT and this is the most infuriating situation. Like I really want to spend my Saturday afternoon working on this. AND there is no way to actually speak to anyone at Google Nest. So yeah, I created this account simply to vent and to say, I'm moving to another service. This is trash service.

I don't know why you cannot migrate your Nest Account to a Google Account; we did so in 2020.  Here's a Help topic with questions on migration:

In order to set up Google Nest devices on a new account, you first need to do a factory reset on each:

To contact Support:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.

2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
