Amber (memyshelfandi) | 69 comments I plan to start the Janet Evanovich series this year too - I have heard lots of good things. What did you think of them?

message 3: by Blake (last edited Feb 09, 2011 02:34AM) (new)

Blake (BlakeMoose) | 17 comments They're really good. I gave most of them a 4 with a couple getting a 5. However, I wouldn't bother with the Between the Numbers series. Visions of Sugar Plums adds supernatural elements to an otherwise great mystery series. I'm good with supernatural, but it doesn't work when you're already emotionally invested in a series that hasn't had anything supernatural 8 books in.

Janet Evanovich seems to follow a formula, but it doesn't get old even by the 16th book. The characters are lovable, and I especially like Stephanie. She's inept as a bounty hunter. Most humorous books will make me smile, but these had me laughing until I cried.

She has two love interests, but I can't decide between them. I like them both. =)

Let me know if you like reading these books too.
