Excellent fantasy read - I could not get enough of this tale! Excited to read the next book when it gets published in November. If you enjoy an action fantasy tale of mythical creatures and characters that interconnect through school, relationships, friendships and adversity - a must read!

really liked it
Absolutely stoked to find this fantasy trilogy recommended on GoodReads. At times I am an enthralled kid devouring the magic of another realm and other times, enjoying realism as characters go through stages of growth. Clever author with laugh out loud moments and delicious details of a place I wish to visit - oh wait I can :) I am on to Book 2 with gusto
