I have written three new books in 2020 and one of them is partially about bullying but the other two aren't :)

I am drafting a new novel, very different to my last but one which I am excited about nonetheless. I am not currently looking into publishing and so do not want to reveal too much but it is a story which I am enjoying writing and hope to have finished in the next few months.

Erimentha Parker was, as many people have probably already gathered, personally inspired. Erimentha is an exaggerated version of myself (more dedicated, more intelligent and more socially challenged) and this meant that my own voice could be distilled through my narrator's. I have always been passionate about anti-bullying, spreading awareness wherever possible, and I always wanted my first book to focus on this issue. Erimentha, like many children who love to learn, is a prime candidate for bullying and her incessant optimism means that she is unable to properly read a situation which often leads to her getting hurt.
