Forbidden Love - Unravel Me
Student, Ashlyn is given an opportunity by her professor to study a new amnesia patient "John Doe". After being warned about his violence and that he was found over a badly beaten body, she still accepts. Nervousness quickly turns into trust and compassion when she discovers that "Logan" (decided to call him that after seeing the name tattooed on his body) had the exact same tattoo of a Latin phrase that she has. Ashlyn skips a night of visiting Logan to go out with her friend, Liz and get her mind off of everything. On the walk home she discovers Logan laying on a park bench and invites him to stay with her until he gets back on his feet and to help him remember anything from his past. They find out that Logan knows the history category on Jeopardy and that he knows how to paint, real well. They, of course, start adapting feelings for each other. We all know what comes with that *eyebrows bouncing up and down*. While going out with a group of friends, an acquaintance of Ashlyn, named Porter, starts drilling Logan with all kinds of questions. A few days later Porter tells Ashlyn that she knows Logan from somewhere but is not 100% sure. After giving Porter all of her contact information and sending a photo of Logan to Porter's roommate, she goes on about her business. One night right before dinner there's a knock on the door, Ashlyn answers to a gorgeous dark haired woman. LOGAN.. It's a woman and her name was tattooed on John Doe Logan's arm. After making that discovery, Aiden (his real name) leaves with Logan to discover who he is. A month has gone by and Ashlyn has had no contact from Aiden. He's outside her place and he knows he wants her. He doesn't care who he was or who he was with before. Ashlyn was all he wanted. That's a crazy story but I loved every bit of it.

Eliza, Liz, is Ashlyn's best friend. Her heartbreaking past has turned her into a "casual-sex-no-strings-attached" type of woman. She meets her upstairs neighbor, Cohen, after tossing a wild football back to him, then again when she thought he'd followed her home. Being a bouncer at a club, a volunteer firefighter, and a student made Cohen the perfect man. Except he was a virgin, waiting for the right woman after seeing how his mother was treated. Eliza and Cohen has became friends. Sleeping over at his house, in his bed, strictly platonic. Liz had realized that she was developing feelings for him and that scared the shit out of her. It was after a bad accident that smacked reality in her that she knew she was in love and needed to tell Cohen about her past. Every. Detail. This entire book was wonderful to read. Aiden and Ashlyn get married finally! Will there be another wedding in the future?

Squeeeeeekkkk*** Can. Not. Wait. Literally. Might-die. From. Anticipation. Her books make me like this every time. If you have yet to read ANYTHING from Kendall Ryan, then you need to play a fun game of Eenie-Meanie-Minie-Moe and get started. I can absolutely guarantee you will not be disappointed. She will make you *squeak* in a fantastically wholehearted kind of way. Everyone should *squeak* like that at least a few times in their life. Kendall is your surefire way to do it. <3
