3.5 stars!

Tesoro by Nicole Banks was a total surprise—and even though our relationship didn't start off on the right foot, we overcame our differences, and once I got sucked into Tommy and Naila's world, stop reading was not an option.

The blurb leaves a lot out of what makes this book good. There are a lot of things going on around the major characters, things I'm not going to give away here. Let's just say that Nicole Banks knew how to have me on the edge of my seat.

Tommy and Naila's story was a lust-love-at-first-sight kind of relationship—one that didn't give me the warm fuzzies right away, and I totally blamed Naila for that. You need to do the right thing before starting a new relationship—like broke up with your actual boyfriend. It doesn't matter if the guy is a fucking asshole, DO THE RIGHT THING because karma is a bitch.

Intriguing, action-packed and well written, Tesoro will hook you in and keep you there until the very end. I'm not so patiently waiting for the next book.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she blew me away. I love a good mafia romance but this book exceeded all my expectations. I was hooked right from the beginning and I could not put it down until the end. These characters kept me up through the night. It only took me a few hours to devour this incredible story.

Naila is strong business woman and she loves her work. She has a boyfriend that is never there and she is used to it. Naila lives in a big town and she keeps seeing this same guy and she is shocked when this guy comes to her door. She is wanting to do some renovations to her house and he came fully recommend by her friend. Naila instantly feels a strong connection to Tommy but she is in a relationship and she is not that type of woman. She gets to know Tommy and she finds out that he is a very powerful man. Naila and Tommy start a friendship and dangerous things start to happen. Will Naila find her happiness or will someone destroy her happiness for revenge?

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, suspense, and mystery. You will fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. Naila is a strong woman that says what she feels even though it can get her into trouble. She loves her work and she will do anything
to fulfill her dreams. Tommy is very powerful man and everyone knows him. He doesn’t want to be known as the mob boss’s son. Tommy wants to do better with his life. The way he treats Naila will make you swoon. I also loved Bear. He brought this story to life. These characters have some steamy scenes that will make your temperature rise. This amazing author will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. The ending made my jaw drop and I’m still in shock. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next.

Tesoro by Nicole Banks is an addictive mafia romance by Nicole Banks. It really grabbed me right from the beginning, with some of the best chemistry between lead characters that I have read. Their attraction was palpable, and sparks flew right off the pages. But it wasn’t just the chemistry that kept me turning the pages- the story is beautifully written, with so many wonderful elements blended together into this captivating read- so many secrets and lies that were cleverly sprinkled into the storyline, hidden agenda, loyalty, betrayal, romance, drama, suspense, tension, action danger, mystery, brilliant quips, funny banter, verbal jousting, and much more- all went into making this an unforgettable read. The characters really were so well developed too, with their own quirks, flaws and personalities. Naila and Tommy were very endearing, and it was easy to get emotionally invested in them and their story. The secondary characters were just as carefully crafted, and were either extremely likeable, or perfectly detestable.
This book gives us multiple points of view, and it took me a little bit to get used to having several POV’s play out, sometimes, on the same page. While there is nothing wrong with that perse- it’s not a style that I am used to – but once I got my head around that fairly early on in the book, it ceased being an issue.
The storyline is left on somewhat of a cliff-hanger at the end, I was a little panicked because there isn’t mention of another book- but, THERE BETTER BE ANOTHER BOOK!! I have unanswered questions that I NEED to know the answers to. So, I will be pouncing on any, and all, of Ms. Banks new releases- hoping for a continuation to this storyline.
Bellissimo!

Thank you, Ms. Banks!

Tesoro is the first book that I've read by Nicole Banks and wow! Such a good book.

Tesoro is a mafia romance that tells the story of Tommy Delucia and Naila.

I LOVED the characters in this book. Naila is as feisty as you can get and I couldn't read enough from her point of view.

Tommy, even though his character is the son of the mob king of NYC, he melted my heart all the way through. He's a big teddy bear but when someone threatens what's his, another side of him makes an appearance that he doesn't want to acknowledge. He's struggling with the fact that he wants nothing to do with "the business" and his father pushing him to take the reigns of his entire operation. He made me swoon over and over with the Italian that he would speak to Naila. Even though I had to keep using the translator feature of my kindle app, it still was totally romantic.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me there is another part to this story because that ending just about killed me!

First instalment...

Mafia romance is one of my most favourite genres, and I always look forward to reading the start of a new series by a new, to me, author.. so I was really excited by this book.. the premise sounded promising, and indeed it was interesting and the narrative well paced with a suspenseful plot... a classic mob story of family ties, the old guard making way for the new and the resultant turf wars......unfortunately the delivery, or more precisely, the main characters were not as compelling as I had initially hoped.....

Naila is a smart, independant business woman, and I liked her feistiness, but at times she came across as weak, and in truth a bit naive when it came to her boyfriend... Tommy had the potential to be a strong, protective and determined character, but his personality was full of inconsistencies: he considered himself a player, and yet he appeared to be a little bit too desperate when pursuing Naila, he spent a lifetime resolutely carving out his own career away from his legacy, and then seemed to have an epiphany and everything changed, and most disconcerting of all - he had grown up in his father’s world and yet he had a casual approach to the potential threats surrounding him and demonstrated anxiety and fear when faced by an aggressive Naila... none of this seemed realistic.. the subsidiary characters were a motley crew of the good, the bad and the ugly.... of all of them Bear was my favourite, a bodyguard cum second father to Tommy... he was a tough guy with a big heart and sense of humour..

The story is told from multiple points of view, which provided useful insights into all the characters motives and feelings. However the switch between perspectives happened on a paragraph by paragraph basis, and , at times, I found this confusing and disconcerting as it disrupted the flow of the writing...

Although there were niggles... this was still a book worthy of reading, and there never was a moment when I was tempted to abandon it before reaching the conclusion... the main characters, whilst not my favourites, caught my attention sufficiently for me to want to see where their futures were heading.... and when I reached the end, and an unexpected cliffhanger, I found myself emotionally invested enough to want to read the next instalment...Summer’s Eve Reads received an advanced copy of this book from the author.

Well if it isn't yet another author I need to add to my ever growing binge buying list - Nicole Banks blew me away! I definitely went into this thinking it would be a decently great read with some steam but I did not expect to be blown away. It was intoxicating.

I have not read many mob themed dramas. Don't get me wrong I don't dislike them, but I find it hard to connect with these types of scenarios mostly because either the drama of the situation overshadows the romance or the romance completely backhands the foundation of the storyline. Banks really met my expectations on this front. Not only did the romance build the overall premise but there was substance to back up this world the characters lived in.

Tommy is definitely my everything. I am sorry - I said it, I admitted it. I am sorry, I love a good strong willed male character. He had this strong, pensive personality that called to me as the reader yet he also held a certain level of vulnerability that was screaming for attention. Naila on the other hand was definitely the star for me. She was empowering, beautiful and damn well feminine prowess of scrumptious. Though at times she did have this inferior sentiments when concerning her boyfriend, I still found her deliciously interesting. Quirky, sexually intoned, fun. She was great.

Right at the bat there was a connection between Naila and Tommy. From their first tension filled meeting to the point they were diving into this world together it was beyond delicious. When I wasn't swooning over the panty-dropping shenanigans I was laughing. They were just entertaining in all avenues.

Aside from the fact that I did enjoy the character dynamics, most definitely their personality and chemistry, I still had a slight pet peeve with the writing style. Normally I love multiple personalities, even in breaks on chapters without notifying the reader of the character still doesn't bother me, however with Tesoro at times the perspectives would switch randomly within chapters by just the change in paragraph. Normally I would have expected a break of shorts, some defining commentary to really pinpoint the character's perspective but this lacked on that front for me. At many points it left me rather confused and really forced me to disconnect with the plot and the characters.

Just jibbled up the flow if you get my drift...

Overall this was definitely amazing. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The characters, between Naila and Tommy were downright captivating; their entire romance and the drama leading their world was intense. And that cliffhanger?! On my lanta... I cannot be held responsible for the lose in my sanity at this point. I need more and I need it now!

Tesoro by Nicole Banks
Rated 4 stars

This is not only a sexy, hot, hold your breath romance. This story has a lot of drama and danger in it as well. Mafia life is tough for the loved ones. Tommy doesn’t want to take over for his dad as King of New York. He’s worked most of his life to not be in that organization but will he change his mind?. Once he sees Naila he decides he wants her for only one night but will that be enough? Life has a way of changing.....

The intense connection between Tommy and Naila is off the charts. When they are in the same room that magnetic pull dominates them. I can almost feel the sizzle coming through the pages. Naila is so good for Tommy! She helps keep him grounded. Likewise Tommy helps Naila feel safe. Each is strong on their own but once together. They are like steel! Unbreakable....right?

Bear is a dream! The advise he gives blew me away. He is not only observent but he is smart. I enjoy anytime he is in conversation with Tommy or Naila. Those usually make me smile.
Cam! She is a best friend I would love to have! She is always in support of Naila’s hopes and dreams. Plus she doesn’t let her walk all over her. She has some spice!

One thing I didn’t care for was The translation dictionary at the front of the book. Tommy speaks frequently in Italian to Naila and since I don’t speak that language I had to turn to the front of the book and look for the passage he said then go back and continue reading. It kinda of gave me a disconnect during those passages. I was in the flow of the moment then...stop go to my bookmarked page search for the passage then go back to reading. After a while i quit doing this and just ignored the Italian like it wasn’t there. Much preferable in my opinion would have been to have the foreign language there then placed the English translation right after it. Then I could happily keep reading in the moment.. no disconnect.

Did I like the book? Yes they story was a good mix of romance and Mafia business. The story flowed nicely and I was pulled into their lives. Did I like the characters? Yes each had a great role and I enjoyed reading about each.

Nalia Ackerman is the owner of some small businesses throughout New York but lately they have all been getting vandalized and she is wondering if is because of Mafia Boss Mr. Delucia. Lately her boyfriend Steve doesn't seem to be around too much and she is wondering what is going on with him.

Tommy Spada wants nothing to do with the life his father leads as a mob boss. He is content with his construction company but he knows that his father is not doing well lately and the pressure is on him to get involved in the family business.

When Nalia and Tommy meet sparks fly and Tommy finds himself extremely protective over Nalia. Unfortunately there may be a reason someone is targeting Nalia and will Tommy be able to protect her from whomever is after her?

This book had lots of twists and turns that made you wonder what was going to happen next. There are almost two separate story lines that intersect throughout and they are the love story between Nalia and Tommy and then the mob life that Tommy is trying to stay away from but is continually drawn into.

I really liked Nalia in that she was a strong woman who was frustrated but not willing to back down. I thought she had bad taste when it came to Steve but I was willing to forgive her for that!

Tommy was such a great character and I loved that he knew the mob life was not one he wanted to get involved with but he still loved his father and hated that he was sick. He also did not trust his father's second in command Angelo and had a feeling he would double cross him.

I really liked Bear and how he stood by Tommy and was someone else he could bounce things off of. I also liked Bishop but wanted to know more about him and hopefully we will get more in future books.

I was expecting the big twist in the book with the mob stuff but part of me wonders if Mr. Delucia was being poisoned by a certain person and maybe now he will start getting better.

The end made me sad with what Tommy had to sacrifice as he wanted to protect Nalia but the very end left me wondering what is coming next!!

Initially I found this book to hard to get into, it didn't capture me in the first 1/3 of the book, however I'm glad that I stuck with it as it turned out to be a very good book. Tommy is the only son of the head of the mafia, the Delucia family who owns and controls a vast territory, however he doesn't not want to inherit his fathers legacy and position so Tommy has worked hard to distance himself from this. Tommy's father is sick, consequently Tommy is under pressure to accept his position in the family, and he knows what that means. He knows that being head of the mafia puts anyone he is close to at serious risk from other the other families, who his father had deposed, seeking revenge. Naila is a successful business women who owns many businesses, many of them located in the Delucia territory. Someone is targeting Naila's businesses, breaking in and causing a lot of damage, but who is doing this no one knows. When Tommy and Naila meet by chance, the chemistry between them is immediate and you can feel fireworks go off. Tommy knowing the risk he would put Naila at if he gets close to her and Naila who has a boyfriend try to ignore what is happening between them. What follows are a series of events, which initially push Tommy and Naila together and make them acknowledge their feelings for each other, but then show both Tommy and Naila that the risks to both of them are very real. The finale to this book is explosive with some unexpected twists along the way. There is definitely a sequel needed for this book.

I was given an arc for an honest review.

I really enjoyed the storyline for this book. I always love a good mafia romance and this one is definitely a good one. The plot was good with Tommy struggling to decide between following his father or being his own man outside of the business and with naila being pulled deeper and deeper. Lots of lust and some angst and some super hotness

The characters are well written and I really liked there interactions. Naila is a good strong female Lead, she fights back and is super sassy, Tommy is a hot mafia leader and I enjoyed his conflict with who he wanted to be and who he felt he needed to be for the people around him.
As side characters cam and beat add a good side story and also complement the lead roles well.
I feel like the presence of Steve undermines all of what nalia stands for as a character and found their relationship irritating and unnecessary.

I liked that there was multiple POV but there was no warning for the change between Character it just jumped around from person to person which I found a little annoying.

The romance was a lot of build up which I enjoyed but then it felt like once it happens it skipped right over it, I would of liked a bit more of that. I'm not disappointed by the ending as it gives room for a book 2 which I will definitely be picking up, however I would of liked a happy ever after but I'm not complaining to much about getting more from this group of people.

Tesoro
By: Nicole Banks
5 out of 5 stars

The story Tesoro by Nicole Banks is a new adult/contemporary romance book. It hooked me in from the very beginning and I had a hard time putting it down until I had read the final page. It is a story that has suspense and plenty of steamy romance. I loved the characters of Tommy and Naila. Naila is a smart, independent and sassy woman who runs her businesses successfully. She is not afraid to say what she thinks. Tommy is heir to an empire that he doesn’t want. He has tried hard to make a name for himself outside his family. When these two meet a fire starts that is impossible for them to ignore. The temperature in the room rises when reading about these two. The connection/attraction to each other is red hot and has the temperature in the room rising. Will they act on their passion/desire for each other? The story also has an atmosphere of danger that is ever present. It has me wondering what was going to happen next and who was going to be left standing in the end. There are many other characters that you are introduced to. I enjoyed reading about those who love and are loyal to Tommy and Naila. There are also others who make you wonder what their agenda is. This is a thrilling book that has a wonderful storyline and amazing characters that you will not soon forget. It is a story that I highly recommend reading.

I have a confession to make - I love reading Mafia books. There is something thrilling about getting a taste of a world that isn’t within my reach in the real world. So when I come across a good book, I like to revisit it several times.

This was the case with Tesoro by Nicole Banks. We’re introduced to a world that sucks you right in, and refuses to let you go. I loved reading about Tommy Delucia and the struggles and battles that he fought on a daily basis to get away from an empire that he didn’t want, but was being pushed onto him. He was such a strong and loyal character – to the core. We also get to meet Naila, an entrepreneur and strong willed female.

I absolutely loved their relationship and everything that they went through, but it’s because in the end – those struggles make you stronger. This was a journey that I felt I travelled right along with the characters. That is what I love finding in a book, a book that I get lost within and only resurface when I absolutely have to. It was such an intriguing story full of steam and you could say action. I definitely enjoyed the book, its characters and the author’s writing style. Definitely a 5 Star Book for me! Can’t wait to read more from this author and see what else she has in store for us.

Tesoro by Nicole Banks is the story of Naila and Tommy. Naila is a businesswoman from New York City and one tough lady, Tommy owns his own construction company and is trying to keep his life separate from the “family” business. The two meet by chance and sparks fly from their first meeting. Naila pushes Tommy away time after time and yet he still comes back for more. There is a lot going on around these two between Naila’s business being threatened to Tommy and his family issues, the ride is wild but entertaining to see what happens to Naila and Tommy and whether they will be able to build a relationship amidst the chaos.
This was my first book by author Nicole Banks and while the story was good I did have a bit of trouble connecting with the character of Naila. Yes, she was tough, independent, etc. but at times she came off a little too harsh and snotty leaving me feeling turned off. Tommy on the other hand was interesting and pulled me into the story, and I kind of wished he’d just walk away from Naila, maybe that was just me? I will be reading the next book from this author because now I need to see what is going to happen in Naila and Tommy’s world.

Tesoro by Nicole Banks was so good. I totally could be part of the Delucia family, I think mafia would look good on me. Tommy has a construction company and doesn’t want his family’s involvement in the company so he’s struggling to keep the two separates. Naila is from the big apple and is one strong business woman, she’s not afraid to take on the big boys. One fateful day Tommy and Naila meet and instant chemistry. Naila is not interested, but that doesn’t deter Tommy for coming back for more. Soon Naila’s business is in trouble and Tommy has family issues. Can Tommy and Naila find love among the madness?
This book was so good, it pulled me right in and held me hostage. I love the characters of this book and how you were dragged along willingly in their quest to find love, save a business, and deal with family issues. Naila was the type of female character I love, smart, tough, independent, and sometimes soft when it mattered. Tommy is all alpha male, but at times I wanted Tommy just to walk away from Naila and make her work to get him just a little. There were so many great elements of this story, I highly recommend it.

“Ero perso e ti ho trovato.” (I was lost and I found you.)

Tesoro was my introduction to Nicole Bank’s novels. I can tell you that it will not be my last time reading one of her books, in fact I may have a new obsession. This has it all, romance, hot and steamy romance, drama, excitement and turbulence, and an intriguing mystery too! I was always on the edge of me seat, either with the love interest storyline or the mafia family plot twists.

The dreamy, strong, and loveable Tommy captured my attention from the first moment we meet him. I felt for his character and saw in him the positives of growing up in a fiercely loving family. As much as the mob family has its negatives you can see that there is love to be had on a level that all families want to have. He honors that and still keeps to his honor as a person.
Naila is a powerful woman. I loved how she was a character that was strong and independent out the gate. She is well aware of what she wants and how to get it. These two play off of each other so well it is an igniting sense of passion you can feel lift off the pages as you read. I loved so much about this novel, but don’t want to say too much and give away anything. I can only hope the ending is a hint at more to come in some way!

Bonus!! There is an amazing playlist and some hot and steamy new lines to learn for future foreyes? Wink, wink! Happy reading!

Sorry- a bit late! I'm out of the habit of posting my reviews and I apologize. Anyway....

Loved the book! From the beginning, where we meet Naila and get to know the sassy, independent woman, I was hooked. I loved that she was a strong woman and didn't rely on anyone else to take care of issues in her life. I thought the idea of Tommy just sitting down and striking up a conversation was a bit out of reality, but that's probably just my reality. Fortunately, Naila didn't find him endearing either in the first meeting and walked away.

The story continues with the push and pull neither desires. However, there is an undercurrent of mystery and intrigue. That kept me reading. This wasn't like every other romance novel. It had substance. It had a strong female character who didn't need to be saved, but who knew when the help being offered was not a bad thing, even if the man offering it is part of a world she doesn't want to be part of. The attraction between them is undeniable and they will either have to meet each other in the middle or walk away.

Well written and paced! The first book from this author I've read and I'm looking forward to more! AND the cover is HOT!

Omg!!!
This book was freaking amazing.
Naila is an independent women who loves her family and friend till the end of the earth. She is a business woman with many shops, but they keep getting broken into and vandalized and can’t figure out why or who. She goes to the property owner. Mr. D and has a meeting with him, but there’s more than that. Mr. D has a soft spot for her and talks to her and tells her it isn’t him. Mr. D has a son that wants nothing to do with the mob. Tommy is a constructor that works on homes and remodels. Tommy is also head over heels for Naila from the first meeting of her in a restaurant. The thing is Tommy is suppose to take over his dad’s business but doesn’t want it. He wants to do what his mom wanted. The thing is once in the mob family or not you will always be a part of it. It’s somewhat of a cliffy. I want more. There is more to the story. Bear is Tommy’s protector and friend. Where he goes Bear goes. Cam is best friends with Naila and a trouble maker but they are close. Can’t wait for more.

Tesoro written by Nicole Banks
5 Stars

“Nothing in this world was free, especially when it came to power.”

This was my first Nicole Banks read and I fell in love instantly in the Delucia’s World. I’m praying this turns into a series or I will be heartbroken having many questions left unanswered.

“The vibe she was getting from him told her he brought nothing but trouble, the good kind and the bad.”

This book will have you on a major rollercoaster of emotions. It is filled with mystery, heartache, loyalty, grief, friendship, deceit, secrets, passion, humor, independence and strength. I love a strong female role, but one that does have a few soft spots as well. These characters had strength, flaws, passion and deep connections. It was so easy to get lost in the words.

“She was dangerous for him, and the more he was around her, the worse it seemed to get, yet he refused to do anything about it.”

This was my first book by this author and I enjoyed the read. I received this book as a gift from the author as a prize during a contest.

Tommy and Naila were a couple that was meant to be, but had really bad timing. Tommy is all alpha male and he met his match when he tried to work his magic on Naila. She was a boss in her own right and wasn't going to let a man tell her what to do. Which confused me, because she kept her stupid boyfriend around when she knew he was cheating. I was like cut your losses, but she kept him around a bit too long. He was in the way and needed to get gone so Tommy could slide on through.

I loved the chemistry between Tommy and Naila. Her would come at her with a line and she would give it right back. I also adored Bear. He was a sweet gentle soul with a murderous side. He had to be in his line of work. You don't get to be the head of the Mafia's best friend and trusted guard of the heir to the throne without having some blood on your hands.

The storyline was a bit wild. Mafia wars are fun to read and get your blood pumping. I just wish I had more information. I felt like there were too many holes in the story. I was left unfulfilled.

How did Mr. Delucia survive a gunshot wound to the chest with his failing health and without being taken to the emergency room? What happened to poor Cam and why didn't we get to read about it?

I hate that the story ended so abruptly and now we are stuck waiting to see if there will be a sequel and if so, will Tommy and Naila be on the same page?

I really enjoyed this read! I loved Naila and Tommy’s relationship and how descriptive and how it was even humorous at times. This romantic side of the narrative blended really well with the thriller, gangster side and this mix of genre made the story really intriguing. I enjoyed the third person narrative and how the reader would be shown the perspective of even the secondary characters, for example Angelo and Luca, as this gave a wider understanding of these characters, their plans and the story itself. I also felt like there was so much in this book! Although the narrative development seemed slow at times, because of the range of events in the narrative this enabled it to be an easy read. Overall, I absolutely loved the thriller style and this blend with the romance made it really a interesting book which I couldn’t put down!

Tesoro By Nicole Banks is a book that had me crawling inside and not wanting to leave. From page one this author captured my attention and just wouldn't let go. I had to keep going no matter how late I was up. In this story there's a lot going on, few people's points of view but I never once felt lost or confused. The author did a nice job of make clear changes of character views. The entire story was written and paced very nicely it never felt drawn out of too fast. The relationship between the two make characters Tommy and Naila had me laughing and needing a fan from the chemistry these two had. My favorite character is hands down Naila with her strong take charge attitude who isn't a pushover. These two just draw you into their world. This is my first book by this author but definitely not my last. I'm giving this book a five star review and adding it to my read again list.

I've never really been a fan of the whole mafia, turf war, power struggle type of book. I always want to focus solely on the relationship, but this book is so well written. You can't help but wonder how things will play out; who will end up on top. That plus the magnetic pull between Tommie and Naila I couldn't stop reading it. Can they make a relationship work with all of danger Naila would constantly be in just by being associated with Tommie? Then there's Anthony (Bear) and Cam...I need to know what's going on between them! Be warned though, things are not tied up neatly at the end. I have so many questions. I can't wait for the next book. (Review by Terri "Jane")

Five Stars

OMG!!! This story was so good. If you want a dominate man who can handle a smart mouth woman this is the book for you. Tommy and Naila are perfect foe each other. The chemistry was seeping from every page. The author didn’t stop at making the characters awesome the plot was really good as well. Mysterious break-ins and mobs help bring the story together. Naila is very straight forward she doesn’t take mess from anyone. I loved how she didn’t stoop to cheating like so many other people would have. A quick read that will have your mouth on the floor with its boldness. Tommy couldn’t escape his families history and it seemed that he would have to use that power to help a friend.

This is one of those books that I kept passing by and reading something else first. What a mistake!

This is a classic mafia tale with all the necessary ingredients... Generations of family feuds, good guys, bad guys, amazing food and of course - more food. There were times while reading this book that I started craving carbs.

The female protagonist is a strong and independent woman who absolutely holds her own. The male protagonist is the prodigal son who respects the family business even if he doesn't completely embrace it.

The characters are well developed and multi-dimensional. The story line is packed full of action and romance and was a great read.

I absolutely look forward to reading more of this series!!!

Holy smokes What a book! Naila is a spitfire. A strong woman full of sass, keeps having her businesses in the mob territory broken into. When she meets a man after being stood up by her boyfriend, she has no idea who he really is, until he starts being everywhere she is. They're like magnets, never can be separated without feeling the loss of each other.
Tommy wants no part of his dads career but he keeps getting pulled in. Now with Naila in the picture, and his fathers health, hes torn.
Can these two have what they want and stay safe at the same time?
I didnt want this book to end. I was rooting for these two to find a middle ground and I was not ready for the end. I did have a hard time keeping everyone straight and the quick pov changes took a little getring used to, but my goodness. I need more, right now!

Tesoro is a sizzling standalone romance by Nicole Banks. I have not read this author's work before, and now I know what I am missing. The storyline was fast paced and fantastic. With just the right amount of danger and suspense thrown in, I was in a constant state of anticipation.

Tommy and Naila were a couple who dazzled and baffled. The endless will they/won’t they elevated my heart rate to ever pitch. I never could predict what was going to happen. The edginess was incredible and hugely addictive. This author provides a straight up, honest and gritty romance with all the yummy elements readers crave. 5 stars.

Tommy is heir to a throne he wants no part of, the mafia throne. Whilst his father keeps pushing him to prepare to take over Tommy's happy in the construction. When Nalia business is vandalised her boyfriend's mostly a no show and she thinks the mafoas behind it, when Tommy and Nalia meet sparks fly but Tommy knows the danger he would bring to her door, but he wants to protect her and find out whose going after her business. This is wel written woth twists and turns, suspense drama, hot scenes and more! The story line is engaging and characters burst with chemestry!

This book took me on a ride. A great exciting ride. The chemistry between Naila and Tommy came off the pages. She kept him on his toes, and he was turned on by how strong she was. Not only was I entertained by their budding romance I was also intrigued by the other things going on in this story. The secondary characters were also very entertaining. And I have a new book boyfriend in Bear. Loyal, protective but also fluffy when needed. The way he had Mr.D and Tommy's back was very was enduring. Nicole has done a great job with this book and I hope to get more.

This is my first book by this author, I loved it. She pulled me in right from the first word and kept me engaged until the last. Her characters are lovable and relatable. They took me on an emotional roller coaster ride I didn't want to get off. Naila and Tommy's chemistry is off the charts. She is strong and feisty, just made him want her more. They took me on some twists and turns that left me sitting on the edge of my seat. I didn't want to put it down. I highly recommend reading this

This was a really enjoyable read. Personally, for me, it had a bit too much craziness and a lot of flipping between calm parts to exciting parts rather quickly. Due to this sometimes I didn't know if I was coming or going. This being said the storyline was really enjoyable once I got a better grip of it. The characters were relatable and I loved getting to know the different personalities. I would be interested in seeing what else this author has written. This was my first book from this author and it is by no means the last. Would highly recommend.
