Sarah J. Maas has done it again! In House of earth and blood, she beautifully creates an intricate world-building inhabited by complex and fierce characters that will encompass you in an extraordinary story about friendship, grief, courage, overcoming traumas, but most important -even if it is as cheesy as it sounds- it's a story about love. Love, in its purest and most profound way, between best friends, lovers, siblings, parents, and even a pet chimaera and a small and chubby fire sprite.

I don't know how to convey how much this book has touched me. The only thing I know is that by the end of the book, I had practically melted by so much tenderness for these characters - not to mention how much I sobbed- and all I can say is that it was one of the most beautiful books and I'll cherish Sarah J. Maas stories forever.
P.S.: If you already know that Sarah J. Maas isn't your "cup of tea", do yourself (and us, Sarah's fans) a favour, and stay away from this book. It is not any different from her other books, thus certainly you're not going to like it. Now, if you like her books, or never has read any, this one might be too overwhelming, but there's no need to focus on all the infodumping, just enjoy the story and the characters....more
