It's more of a comedy than a paranormal romance, which is what it says on the book. I don't read many romance novels, but it's hard for me to resist a book about vampires, so I took a chance. If you're looking for an easy read that will make you laugh out loud, then this one is it. If you're looking for a romance, then you should probably pass over this book. The romance was pretty much just a sub-plot. Betsy is the heroine, not the damsel in distress.
