“enemies-to-lovers—it’s our trope, buxbaum.” ᥫ᭡
i can’t explain how cute and funny this book was. i was laughing so much, giggling and smiling throughout the whole book. i didn’t even expect to love this book that much because i’m usually not impressed with YA books.
i loved wes so so much (and helena - give my woman the damn credit she deserves).
i loved the banter, the messy fake dating part, the connection between wes and liz, their childhood memories, him giving “she’s not you” vibes and falling in love with her as a kid, omg. my heart.
i still had my problems with liz. she was so insensitive and bitter sometimes that i really wanted to shake her.
other than that, i enjoyed and loved this book. a lot. i admit, mostly because of wesley mf bennett, but who DIDN’T fall for him?
