Ellie Palmer is a true talent, her writing equal parts hilarity and heart.
Alison Mullally, a thirty-year-old woman with no nipples (BRCA carrier) attends her ex-boyfriend's funeral only to discover that no one knows they had broken up. She agrees to play the role of grieving girlfriend for the sake of the family and agrees to pack up her ex's apartment along with his best friend Adam Berg. Adam is the tall, brooding grumpy to Alison's peppy sunshine, yet despite his efforts to maintain distance, sparks start to fly between them. But fake dating a dead guy gets tricky when she starts to fall for his best friend.
This book explores the theme of survivor's guilt and the life choices we make because of it. I LOVED the chemistry and buildup of tension between the two MC's, and the HEA did not disappoint. I'm already a devoted fan and look forward to reading Palmer's next book!!!
