I postoji više različitih vrsta (strahova) otpora: - strah od toga šta donosi budućnost, - neznanje, nemotivacija, prikrivanje grešaka ili nerada, - potreba za kontrolom, - čežnja za prošlošću,... Kada se oni iskomuniciraju sa zaposlenima i podstakne se svrha uvođenja/rada, pokrene se motivacija, kroz konkretne primere iz svakodnevnog rada, iz faze otpora se prelazi u fazu zainteresovanosti. Tu je već moguće razvijati, shodno znanju, iskustvu, motivaciji, interesovanjima i različite nivoe implementacije i treninga. Zaposleni treba da isprate svaki svoj rezultat i nauče kako da ga unaprede. Svakodnevna komunikacija i podrška su neophodne i tokom implementacije i nakon nje.
