If you are a great leader and know your team it is easy to know who can step up and handle individual aspects and tasks for problems to be solved. Assigning and aligning tasks to the right team members is paramount to the success of the matter passed to your team. Then, having a tool like Jira, Trello etc helps your team PM their way through to ensure all tasks are being completed. Using Scrum teams can help your business - daily standups and walk around your team seeing if there are any impediments which the rest of the team can help to resolve is also a solid way to move your project forward.
Gathering the necessary resources in advance is crucial. Ensure you have access to all the information, materials, and assistance you need before diving into the project. If you foresee a need for extra help, reach out to colleagues or superiors early on. Having everything at your disposal means you can work uninterrupted and are less likely to encounter delays that could impact your deadline.

I love gathering resources but for me the first resource to gather together is your team. If you have a problem to solve bringing together your various team members with different knowledge, skills and ideas means you are already combining your most valuable resource - Your Team.
When problems arise, as they often do, implement solutions swiftly. Use critical thinking to evaluate the issue and brainstorm possible solutions. Don't hesitate to ask for input from team members; collaborative problem-solving can lead to innovative solutions that you might not have considered on your own. The faster you address issues, the less they will impact your overall timeline.
It's important to monitor your progress consistently. Regular check-ins on your task list will help you stay on track and adjust your plan as needed. If you're falling behind, reassess your strategy and workload distribution. Sometimes, reprioritizing tasks or reallocating resources can get you back on course without compromising the deadline.

Flexibility is key to problem solving. In everything we do in our careers there can be change required and quite quickly. Being able to adapt quickly means a more likely ability to succeed. If you think back to the beginning of COVID when we went from working solidly in an office to working from home, this was where adaptability and flexibility came into their own. My whole training had been face to face then in a turnaround of less than 48 hours it would become virtual. But as I am able to adapt quickly to different scenarios and circumstances, I researched how I could make this learning work as our consultants were in the same position, came up with solutions and worked through each solution live until the right ones worked.
