Qualifications
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree from accredited university
Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with required endorsements or a valid letter of eligibility from an Alternative Certification Program
Demonstrated competency in the content area: 8th/9th Grade Social Studies
Special Knowledge/Skills
Knowledge of content/grade level assigned
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience
Teaching experience in an accredited school or approved internship
