The Community Design Center of Rochester (CDCR) is a non-profit organization based in Rochester, NY. This is a part-time hybrid role as a Design Manager at the Community Design Center of Rochester. The Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing design projects, managing design teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring project completion within set deadlines. The role requires regular on-site presence in Rochester, NY, with flexibility for some remote work.
- Experience in design project management and team coordination
- Knowledge of urban planning and design principles
- Proficiency in design software and tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Experience with community engagement and participatory design processes
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, urban planning, architecture, or related field
