To help you stay on top of everything, set yourself up with reminders.

The key to effective time management is to be aware of and create reminders for important dates. Reminders might help you prepare and gather your belongings 15 minutes before a meeting or occasion.

Set up a daily schedule

Make a to-do list for the day, and add in any impending meetings or deadlines that you know about. Remember to check off everything you've accomplished as you go through your to-do list.

Set a deadline for each assignment.
