It’s Day Two of our Launch Week, and we’ve got two more features to announce. First off, we're finally shipping Vercel Edge runtime support! We love Next.js, and we now have full support for Vercel deployments. Page Router, App Router and Edge API support. It’s all there. Christopher Esplin wrote a whole blog post about the machinations required to get Open Telemetry running on Vercel Edge. Read all about it! https://dub.sh/KEsN0B0 Do you have multiple services sending data to Highlight? Now you can tag your SDK invocations with service_name! In the Before Times, you might have configured multiple Highlight projects to isolate your services… …and you can still do that! Or you can tag your services and filter them on a single dashboard. It's up to you!

Join Chris Griffing and Chris Esplin from Highlight.io to demystify OTel for Next.js We'll cover a generic OTel implementation that will work for Highlight or any other observability service with an OTel collector. OTel is supported by a huge range of frameworks and libraries, so your stack likely has some level of OTel coverage already. By implementing OTel on your own codebase, you'll capture observability data from your supported frameworks/libs, while avoiding vendor lock-in.
