Research staff and students at University of Birmingham:
The University of Birmingham has a pre-payment account with BioMed Central available to all University of Birmingham staff.
Before submitting please email openaccesspublications@contacts.bham.ac.uk to confirm your eligibility and receive an account code which can be used to authorise payment of your publication charges.
If you have a membership submission code, please enter it in Option 3 of the APC estimate section during the submission process to allow for your submission to be considered for centralised payment by your institution.
If you submit from an IP address that has been registered by your institution, the APC will be automatically transferred to your institution for their consideration for central billing at the end of the submission process.
If you submit using a non-registered IP address, please choose your institution from the drop down list on the payment options page and our Customer Services will be in touch to check your affiliation before passing details of your submission to your institution for their consideration.
