For me it’s the one with the prom video! What do you think? She thinks it’s the last one!
Mine was when Rachel was moving out of Monica's
Being 13 1/2, Friends was the first real TV show I've ever watched (before it was the likes of Nicky Ricky Dicky & Dawn, Thundermans, etc). Over the past few months, the show has really helped me through some hard spots. I cried a bit after The Last One. I think I'm gonna rewatch it one time, but after that are there any sitcoms anyone would recommend that are similar to Friends?
I noticed some recurring family members don’t reappear at important events (Phoebe’s parents and brother do not come to her wedding and Rachel’s two sisters are not at her baby shower).
I get in a less famous show, this could easily be explained by the actors having better things to do but this was literally the biggest show on TV at the time, surely they would have all moved heaven and earth to be there?! And it would have made for a better and more realistic scene having those extra known faces there.
It just seems unrealistic and cheapens the scene that they’re not there - so what’s the explanation? Why didn’t the producers want them?
Idk if this is an unpopular opinion or not, and if its already been discussed to death (if so, i apologize for reviving it) but the way Monica treated Chandler sometimes wound up being far more cruel than funny.
A few examples:
Being so controlling, and shutting down his opinion without so much as a discussion (a good example of this would be the way he barely had a say in the wedding planning process)
Not standing up for him when other characters (often Phoebe) would mock or deride him
Getting her bra signed by another dude at Joey's soap opera party on top of forgetting to even tell him about the party in the first place
Tricking him into having sex with her by pretending she wasn't angry at him over smoking
Believe me, Chandler most definitely screwed up in the relationship a fair few times (the wedding picture fiasco, Tulsa), but I felt like he was a lot more loving and accepting of Monica's flaws than she was of his. If you disagree, feel free to let me know.
Please 🙏
Why did you not take the brain medicine, Ross.
Inspired by a recent and similar post about the boys. But I'm much more curious about this faceoff.
Tell us who you're backing, and why
I just happened to catch The One Where Eddie Moves In that has Phoebe making her music video. I can't find any credits for the background singers and I swear one of them is Renee Elise Goldsberry. Am I nuts?
