Claire is the Project Engagement Officer for the Assizes for Devizes project, which has secured a Development Phase grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Claire has spent the last nine years working in the charity sector in various management roles from CEO of an older people’s charity to Heritage Officer for a historic cemetery and nature reserve in East London. Claire is also a folklorist who specialises in the history of witchcraft, Paganism and magic. She has a Masters in Folklore Studies and is currently studying for her Professional Doctorate in Heritage  at the University of Hertfordshire, exploring contemporary spiritual engagements with historic sacred sites across Britain.
