Rob Burrow | Claudia Sheinbaum

We regret the error below a picture of Rob Burrow, which gave the rugby league player’s year of death as 2004, rather than 2024 (3 June, p1, early editions).

Mexico’s president-elect, Claudia Sheinbaum, is not “the first woman to lead a North American country”, but the first to be elected as leader of such a country. Kim Campbell was prime minister of Canada briefly in 1993 (Sheinbaum makes history in Mexico, 4 June, p4 from p1).
