Users are welcome to create a page in the User namespace with their own username, for example [[User:Example]] for a user named "Example". The system will sometimes link to this user page automatically, such as in [<tvar name=1>https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Commons:User-specific_galleries,_templates_and_categories_policy&action=history</tvar> page histories]. Additional pages may also be created as long as they are named as subpages, by following the user page with a slash and the subpage name, e.g., "User:Example/Sandbox".
