The initial "plain text" file is no longer the logo of Wellcome since their rebranding (they don't use the word trust anymore). If it's agreed that this logo is beyond the threshold of originality, rather than be deleted this file should really be moved to wikipedia with a Non-free use rationale logo tag e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Shell_logo.svg --D Wells (talk) 14:30, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think that's a reason not to restore the old version; we have lots of old logos on Commons and articles might still want to describe the change of the logo. Comment As a historical reference, it makes sense to retain the logo as it was uploaded on 21 January 2014. As to the later logos, I am unsure about where the threshold of originality lies. Richard Nevell (talk) 10:16, 1 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
