Description
Med najlepšimi in najdragocenejšimi drevesi v parku so sinja libanonska cedra (Cedrus liban "Glauca"), sinja atlantska cedra (Cedrus atlantica "Glauca"), Bornmullerjeva jelka (Abies bornmuelleriana), magnolija (Magnolia grandiflora), bela murva (Morus alba).
English: View towards the palmarium of the Sežana Botanical Garden (southwestern Slovenia). This is the oldest part of the park, which was created by Greek family Scaramangà in 1848. The park is geometrically arranged and contains Renaissance elements and exotic trees. Among the most beautiful and valuable trees in the park are the blue cedar of Lebanon (Cedrus libani "Glauca"), the blue cedar of Atlas (Cedrus atlantica "Glauca"), the Bornmuller fir (Abies bornmuelleriana), the magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora), the white mulberry (Morus alba). In front of the greenhouse, there are round Austrian-style beds of boxwood, including the Balearic boxwood (Buxus balearica), native to southern Spain and the Balearic Islands, which is a rarity in this part of Europe.
