@Mossmoon: This was taken during a public appearance, correct? That means there is no expectation of privacy, and per Commons:Photographs of identifiable people, in Austria consent is not required for the photograph to be published. Not only that, but this is the only picture we have of this person, so that makes me doubly reluctant to delete it. However, I am sympathetic to the subject's request. Why don't you tell him that we will delete it, but only if he gives us a freely licensed photo of himself that he approves of?
