English: Thawaai Haappa (Thawai Happa) - a gesture (Khut-thek) of putting a soul (into the human body) - one of the Hakchaang Saapa / Hakchang Sapa / Hakchaang Saaba / Hakchang Saba / Hakchaang Shaapa / Hakchang Shapa / Hakchaang Shaaba / Hakchang Shaba group of gestures of creating human body in Lai Haraoba classical dance & music ritualistic performances of ancient Kangleipak civilisation - It is gesture (Khut-thek) of classical Meitei dance forms (Meitei Jagoi); In Meiteilon, alias Meitei or Meetei or Manipuri or Kanglei or Meithei language, the word "Khut-thek" (or Khutthek or Khuthek) means hand gesture. Here, "khut" means hand and "thek" means gestural movement in Meitei language. There are numerous khut-thek hand gestures, which are used in classical Meitei dance forms like those of Lai Haraoba (alias Umang Lai Harauba) of the traditional Meitei religion (Sanamahism) from the land of Kangleipak (today known as Manipur state).
