中文：广东，简称粤，是中华人民共和国南端沿海的一个省份。广东位于五岭以南，南海之滨。与香港、澳門、广西、湖南、江西和福建接壤；与海南隔海相望。省会广州。广东在语言风俗、历史文化等方面都有着独特的一面，分为三大族群，广府人、潮汕人、客家人。与中国北方地区有很大的不同。廣東歷來商業蓬勃，自明清至舊新中國建立，均是中国经济最发达的省份。
