G'day

I am doing a project on the Rhine River. Particular detail paid to the river basin, the uses of the river and the effects this has on the river. I then have to investigate how man has delt with the percieved problems in the catchment basin and if they have been, or are succesful, and what measures could be used to deal with current and future problems and the likelihood of their sucess.

If anyone could help me with directing me to good information, or even better would like to write a short piece (only a few hundread words) I would be very happy.
