Hi, thanks for contributing to WikiCommons. Please do not use {{patent}} for images that are obviously not from patent applications. Secondly, you need to add sources for the photos you upload, sources who can credibly verify that the copyright tag you have added is correct. Just because a photo has been published does not mean that it is public domain. Images with incomplete information may be deleted.
The photos listed below are lacking a verifiable source, please add more information. Thuresson 16:22, 5 November 2005 (UTC)

Please add a source who can verify that the photo is public domain. Or show that literary and artistic works from Federal Republic of Yugoslavia before 1992 are not protected by copyright and that this is such a work. Thuresson 04:45, 3 December 2005 (UTC)

Missing information
The images Image:Skopje postkort fra 1950.jpg and Image:Ante Pavelic med Hitler og Hermann Goering i Tyskland 16 06 1941.jpg do not have a source who can verify that the photos are public domain. If you claim that photos published in Yugoslavia before 1992 are public domain, please present some kind of evidence. Photos without credible sources may be deleted. Thuresson 13:47, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
The only kind of evidence I have is that this country don’t exist anymore. The country is gone, and the laws too!
The Yugoslavia is divided in different small countries, and nobody knows what’s up or down!--Bobby 21:22, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
- But Serbia, Croatia or Slovenia have new coyright laws that protect phtoos from the Yugoslav era too. The Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia also had laws against stealing, killing or beating other people. Are you saying that since the country do not exist anymore, there are no laws against stealing or killing in Belgrade, Skopje or Zagreb? The existing copyright law in Serbia protect artistic works for the life of author + 70 years, that's what you need to argue against. Thuresson 06:40, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi Thuresson I don’t say that they don’t have laws against stealing or killing in Belgrade, Skopje or Zagreb (this is too much dramatic ), but I say that Yugoslavia don’t exist.
Wikipedia pages I’m a little confused about other pictures from Wikipedia pages: I understand (or I’m wrong?) that Wikipedia’s policy is the same in any language, but when I place a picture from another existing Wikipedia pages, those pictures are deleted, and I don’t understand why. I mean that, when the picture is on other pages (English, German, Serbian, Croatian and more…), then we can use those pictures free.
Back to deleted pictures from II World War: A lot of those pictures are already published on numerous internet pages with no copy rights, so I can not see some problems there!
Pictures from postcards: I have a big collection from old postcard and mostly of them are printed in different Yugoslav towns by Yugoslav company Turisticka Stamparija. This company (like the state) don’t exist anymore, so I can see why we can not use them.
Official flag pictures: A lot of those pictures are deleted, even when I place PD-Flag sign. Those pictures are placed with same sign on another page, but they are immediately deleted when I place them on Danish side. What’s the reason for that? Again: Is Wikipedias policy not the same for any language?

- You have still failed to prove that the images are free. Just because the nation doesn't exist, it doesn't mean that the rights necessarily go free. The Sovjet Union is an example of an nation that does not exist - yet the rights are not free. Another example is when a person die. The rights the typically remain in the family for the next 70 years, but the do not disappear. We're not saying that you are necessarily wrong, but you haven't proven it.
- The use of images on Wikipedia is stricter than the rest of the internet. Millions of websites are made by common people, who doesn't know anything about copyright or doesn't care. You can not use those websites as an example of free use. The Wikimedia Foundation is a non-profit foundation. Lawsuits against it as a result of copyright violation could seriously damage it.
- We do not have a PD-Flag on the Danish Wikipedia so you must be confused. We will delete any image that is without licens or with a licens but without reasonable explanation such as the Jugoslavia images. That goes for any Wikipedia and Commons. --Maitch 14:53, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
Another pictures
Every time I set in the existing pictures from Wikipedia sites, they are deleted! Why? --Bobby 21:22, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
