  Visit the Physics Major Requirements website for the most current information about applying to the physics major and satisfying major requirements. Be aware that the physics 5-series is the honors version of the 7-series so it is only recommended for students with a strong physics and math background. Also note that for upper division physics requirements: there are seven fixed requirements and one upper division physics elective. If you have further questions, reach out to our advising team.

  This tool isn't a degree audit system and students must still consult with their major, college, and other advisors to track graduation progress.
