  • Spraya is used for spraying with a spray can or spray bottle or the like, where spruta sounds too forceful. To "psst" is to spraya.
  • Not traveling along a surface in (sense 1). Would be called a stråle (ray, beam) in Swedish, which allows rays of liquid, by extension.
