The Princeton–Yale football rivalry is an American college football rivalry between the Princeton Tigers and Yale Bulldogs.[2] It is one of the sport's oldest rivalries, beginning in 1873.[3][4].

An historic contest was the meeting in 1934. At a sold out Palmer Stadium Yale, never substituting a player, defeated 7-0 a Princeton squad playing to extend a 15 game win streak. The Yale squad, coached by Ducky Pond, improved its record to 4-3.
