The 1963 elections to select inductees to the Baseball Hall of Fame were conducted under the system in use since 1962. As such, the Baseball Writers Association of America (BBWAA) did not hold an election to select among recent players.The Veterans Committee met in closed-door sessions to select from players ineligible for the BBWAA election, as well as managers and executives.

The Veterans Committee selected 19th-century 300-game winner John Clarkson, turn-of-the-century outfielder Elmer Flick, 266-game winner Eppa Rixey, and outfielder Sam Rice, who had 2987 career hits.
