MorMor (born 1992 in Toronto as Seth Nyquist) is a Canadian singer-songwriter.

Life

Seth Nyquist was born in Toronto, where he grew up with his mother, Englisch professor Mary Nyquist, and his sister.[1][2][3] Nyquist was singing in the school choir and played trumpet in a band.[2]

After he finished school, he started to study Sociology at Toronto's Ryerson University.[2] He dropped out after one semester and focused on his musical career. He took piano and vocal training.[2]

In 2015 he released his debut EP Live For Nothing under the moniker MorMor, which he dedicated to his late grandmother.[4] In 2018 he released the EP Heaven’s Only Wishful through his own label Don’t Guess. The title track several million views on YouTube and Spotify.[2]
