Axel Kei (born December 30, 2007) is an Ivorian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Real Monarchs.

Playing career

A member of the Real Salt Lake since 2020,[1] Kei won the MLS Next Cup U15 Golden Boot on July 13, 2021, in their winning campaign at the MLS Next Cup.[2] On October 8, 2021, he debuted with the Real Monarchs in a 0–0 USL Championship tie with Colorado Springs Switchbacks, coming on in the 61st minute. Kei's appearance at the age of 13 years, 9 months and 9 days old, made him the youngest professional athlete in American team sport history.[1]
