A Thousand Clowns is a 1965 Romantic comedy film, directed by Fred Coe. It is based on the 1962 play by Herb Gardner. It was Barbara Harris' first film.

Plot

A middle-aged artist/beatnik tries to avoid real life, and faces the prospect of losing custody of his young ward.
