The Agnes was a wooden brigantine built in 1849 at Point Brenley, Nova Scotia in 1849. She was first registered in Pictou, Nova Scotia.[1] Later acquired by owners in Sydney, Australia, she was wrecked when the wind changed whilst carrying ballast between Sydney and Wollongong and was lost on the north side side of the Wollongong breakwater New South Wales on the 10 March 1877
