He attended [[Morningside College]] for two years, where he won six tournaments and was individual [[Great Plains Athletic Conference]] champion. He transferred to the [[University of South Carolina Aiken]] where he was first-team All-American and [[Peach Belt Conference]] Player of the Year in 2015.
