This system of tagging/categorisation is used as a status monitor of all articles written in Australian English, and not as a cleanup ''per se''. Bearing in mind the possibility of erroneous tagging if done by bot, articles initially need to be tagged through manual effort. After being tagged, and bearing in mind article evolution, a bot can be sent around to clean up spelling after, say, 12 months have elapsed. The bot would correct any new introductions since its last visit, and would also put or update the visit date on the {{tl|Use Australian English}} template. |
